Honor View40 is officially announced on January 22, 2021.

The smartphone is powered by Mediatek MT6889Z Dimensity 1000+ processor and Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. The rear camera consists of a triple-camera 50 MP (wide) + 8 MP (ultrawide) + 2 MP (macro).

The front has a dual camera 16 MP (wide) + Color spectrum sensor. The phone’s sensors include Fingerprint (under display, optical), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass.

The smartphone is fueled by a Non-removable Li-Po 4000 mAh battery + Fast charging 66W, 60% in 15 min, 100% in 35 min (advertised) + Fast wireless charging 50W, 50% in 35 min (advertised) + Reverse charging 5W.

The phone runs on Android 10 with no Google Play Services operating system. Honor View40 is available in various colors such as Midnight Black, Rose Gold, and Titanium Silver.

The device features Bluetooth 5.1, GPS with dual-band A-GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, QZSS, and USB Type-C, USB On-The-Go. The dimension of the smartphone is 163.1 x 74.3 x 8 mm and it weighs 189 grams.

The technology of the display is AMOLED with 1B colors, HDR10, 120Hz, and 800 nits (peak) and 6.72 inches size that provides 1236 x 2676 pixels resolution. It supports Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by).
