Nokia 5.1 Plus review: Design
The Nokia 5.1 Plus doesn’t look like the top segment phones. The combination of the glass-fronted front and rear panels with the metal frame creates a very elegant look. The large notch on the top of the long screen of the smartphone’s 19: 9 aspect ratio is one of the first things to look at.

Nokia 5.1 Plus review: Display
The Nokia 5.1 Plus features a 5.8-inch notched IPS LCD screen. This screen offers users a resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels. The aspect ratio is 19: 9 and the pixel density is 290 ppi. This screen occupies 79.6 percent of the front panel.

First of all, it is easy to use the Nokia 5.1 Plus outdoors and in high light. The automatic adjustment of the screen brightness plays an important role. In this way, the reflection of the light on the phone screen is no longer a problem. Even in darker environments, there is no problem to see what’s on the screen.

With the choice of the IPS panel, the Nokia 51 Plus offers powerful viewing angles. Even at the most difficult angles, there is no excessive glare, discoloration or contrast. Although black backgrounds appear to be a bit gray, it is not uncommon to note that this is a common phenomenon.

Nokia 5.1 Plus review: Hardware and Performance
At the heart of the Nokia 5.1 Plus is the eight-core MediaTek Helio P60 chipset. The chipset is handled by the ARM Mali-G72 MP3 graphics processor. There are different options for the memory and the capacity of the internal storage that accompany the Helio P60. However, the test center has 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. Thanks to the MicroSD card support, an additional 400 GB can be added to the internal storage.

It is worth noting that the 32 GB of internal storage is about 22 GB, and only slightly larger than 10 GB is used by the operating system.

The main technical staff of the Helio P60, 3 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage, does not look very impressive on paper. However, in actual use, the performance of the phone is sufficient for standard tasks. During our tests, we only encountered a situation where the phone freezes on opening an application. Apart from that, the performance of the application runs at a good level.
