Nokia Receives EEC Certification for 3 New Smartphones

HMD Global and Nokia, which produce devices like Nokia 9 PureView to compete with the strong names of the smart phone industry, continue to prepare the infrastructures of the devices they will launch in the future. The certificates, which are necessary for placing the phones on the market and differing from region to region, are at the beginning of the infrastructure processes necessary for starting the sales transactions of the phones. The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) is also among those issuing these certificates.

Finland-based smartphone manufacturer Nokia has received EEC certification for 3 new devices. In previous certificate applications, we were able to access some information about the telephones, but unfortunately very few details were revealed. However, it is possible to make some predictions using these details.

In the issued certificate information, smart phones named as TA-1205, TA-1212 and TA-1234; According to estimates, the Nokia 9.1 corresponds to three of the Nokia 8.2, Nokia 5.2 and Nokia 2.3 devices. The Nokia 5.2 device is thought to be 157.69 x 75.41 mm in size. According to these dimensions, the corner-to-corner distance can be calculated as approximately 145 mm. This means that the Nokia 5.2 will be a 5.7-inch phone. Of course, if you take the frames into account, it is likely that the screen size will be smaller.

The TA-1209, which Nokia had previously certified, came with a dual SIM card, but the TA-1211 and TA-1214 had a single SIM card slot. This means that commenting on the new devices’ SIM card support will not work.

One of the devices mentioned in the rumors, the Nokia 8.2 is expected to be both 4G and 5G version. In addition, Snapdragon 735 SoC processor will be powered by the device is said to be available next year.
