Xbox continued to work to improve the new console, while the pouch opened the mouth and bought various studios. Looks like the firm’s shopping isn’t over yet.

Recently, we’ve seen Xbox buy some of the most important game makers. These companies include Obsidian Entertainment, the producer of The Outer Worlds, and Double Fine, who developed Psychonauts 2 . No new game news came from these studios at the X019 event, but new studio news came from Xbox.

Phil Spencer , the head of the Xbox, said he was looking for a particular type of studio. Spencer said in a statement at X019 that he did not think that Xbox’s acquisitions were over yet, and that he is still on the hunt.

Encer There are great creators out there, Sp Spencer said . Our business continues to grow. The company is incredibly supportive of what we are trying to build. Microsoft sees gaming as a key pillar of consumer interest and strategy. We get a ton of support from Satya Nadella, Amy Hood and the board. And we’re doing a good job, so we’ve earned the right to keep looking. ”

After persistent questions about what kind of studios Xbox was looking for, Spencer released a pod in his mouth about exactly what they were looking for: Asian studios. Spencer, as the reason for this decision showed that they think they have gaps in Asia.

Stating that the studio aims to increase the geographical diversity of the manager, the United Kingdom and the United States began by saying that the number of studios are pleased to have various numbers. Nevertheless, Spencer says he believes they have a place in Asia and is considering filling the gap on this continent with one or more studios. This way, Asian creators will join their teams.

Spencer added that there was no discussion of the situation, but that one or more Asian studios were included in the roadmap.

Xbox’s next console is currently known as Project Scarlett. The release date of this console will coincide with the holiday period of 2020.
